Blood work/questions about prostate cancer

Can someone please tell me what type of blood work to ask for to determind if

there's any advancement of bladder carcinoma or possibly lung cancer?

I've asked my family Dr. about blood work but he tells me that there's none. I

want to call a Dr. who will do blood work for me soon but want to know what to

ask for.

Also, I've gotten emails from some of you with questions about a friend of mine

who had prostate cancer and is now cancer free. You had asked how was this

determind that he had cancer. They did a biopsy of the prostate. He then ordered

Essiac from the internet. I don't remember the company that he ordered from. My

husband just talked to him, he's now on a maintanence dose but I don't remember

how much he takes per day. The really important thing here is that taking Essiac

has cured the cancer! He was checked out since then and he is cancer free!
