Guest guest
, you said you were passing white things. I am wondering, ever since I have been pregnant my urine is sometimes cloudy, Do you know if this is something to do with the kidneys? My midwife didnt seem to know anything, and I have been drinking TONS of water. Just seeing if you know what it could be!!Thanks!! >From: " L. Are you drinking more water than you used to? You may be cleaning your kidneys/bladder by drinking more water. The " filtration system " of the kidneys is quite intricate and I believe I was cleaning out debris that was " lodged " in the delicate workings of the kidneys. I don't know a lot about your diet, do you eat a healthy food diet? L. Guest guest
, Yes I am pregnant right now, 15 weeks. I have been drinking more water, but not so much more than usual. I feel like I am always dehydrated no matter how much I drink!! I have a fairly ok diet. I try not to eat sweets because of my blood sugar, but I have to when it drops low. I do eat meat, more now than before. I just try to eat what I am craving as long as it isnt sweets! I have also heard that people who have gallstones usually have kidney stones, I dont know if that is true or not, but I was around 16 weeks pregnant before when my gallbladder started announcing itself!!! So I hope its not true!!! >From: " L. If you want to help your blood sugar levels, eat a little something between breakfast and lunch, lunch and dinner, and before bed. This will mean eating a bit less at the regular mealtimes. I usually eat something like a Granny Apple (less sugar, also good for the GB :-) or other fruit between meals, and at bedtime some yogurt with frozen blueberries mixed in. In time your levels will even out. Avoid refined white flour products, sugars, honey (except tupelo, it acts more like a fruit sugar, fructose, and goes into the system more slowly), and sweets. Focus on the complex carbo's when you eat them. For pasta, I use DeBoles Artichoke Pasta...hardly notice a difference between it and semolina pasta, and it has much less starch, starch turns into sugar in the body. >I do eat meat, more now than before. I just try to eat what I am craving as long as > it isnt sweets! I have also heard that people who have gallstones usually > have kidney stones. Some think that if you make stones in one area, you make them in others. I'm not sure if that is true or not. I've been dealing with gallstones for years, but don't think I've ever passed or had symptoms of kidney stones..so far :-) The best to you in your pregnancy! Avoid fatty foods and eggs as much as possible to keep the GB quiet during your pregnancy, and then you can deal with it after delivery. That's just MHO. L. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks so much for all the advice!! I have already had my gb removed. I have been trying to regulate my blood sugar for so long and I am having alot of trouble. I have to eat all the time it seems or I get really dizzy. I have had pancreatitis quite a few times, so I think that was to blame. But we will see. Thanks again!! >From: " L. Maybe after you have had your baby you might want to try the following...this combination is designed for the Pancreas, but many of the herbs in it are also good for the Kidneys, and other things :-) https://www.mynsp.com/web/meydrech/products.jsp?stocknum=10222 I hope you will feel better soon and enjoy your pregnancy. Until Menopause, there was no time that I felt better than when I was pregnant (after the first month). If you aren't eating the way I suggested already, I think you'll find that over time, it will help! L.
