Hi Hank,

Is the itching where you put on the gel. If so it may not get better but

worse. Two weeks is way to soon to tell how things are going to turn out.

First you need to be getting your levels up then when stable you body starts to

repair the damage done by low T this is a slow process like having a broken arm.

It takes time if the itching is not near the gel site this could mean your

Estradiol is up I itch like hell when I go high It starts on the back of my

lower legs and between my toes. So it shit like this is going on have your

Estradiol checked.

Hi all! Well, I am at the 2 week point on my TRT regimen. I am

taking 1mg per day of Testerone gel (10% compounded) and 125ius of HCG

a day. I have noticed more energy and mental clarity but I have not

noticed the libido coming back up yet. Any thoughts on that from the

group? Finally, I still have a few side effects occasionally, a few

headaches and itching a bit. Has anyone else noted the itching with a

their T gel? thanks, Hank

Hey Hank - for me, libido was the last thing that returned. My guess is that it

depends on how much damage (how long we are too low on T) has happened. In my

case, I think I was low for ~ 5 years before it got so bad I did something about

it. I found this site and it has led me down a path to better health. It took

almost a year for me to get stable and " horny " again.

Phil,

Thanks for your thoughts. It is early. I just hope this combo of T

and HCG gets me going where i want to go. I researched the itching

on here and MESO and saw your posts. My itching is not

confinded to the area I am applying the T gel. It is all over from

back to shoulders to legs. As you posted earlier this week, I agree

I think my E2 levels are too high. I was going to wait a few weeks,

but I am thinking I will call the docs office and tell them about

the itching and headaches to ask for some bloodwork. I hate to

suffer if some Arimidex is needed. If you recall, my doc was going

to put me on that at first. I think he might reconsider if I tell

him my side effects. He seems to be a caring guy. thanks, Hank

Hank,

I too take a compounded cream. Started about 2-3 months ago with

Androderm patches (Worst thing ever i might add) and then switched to

compounded 10% cream, 1mg daily. I am not taking HCG, but arimidex to

keep E2 down.

I had the exact opposite reaction, my libido was the very first thing

to come back. I don't experience any itching where i apply (Usually

upper chest shoulders area or inner forearms). Could be your skin

just isn't handling the cream well. You could always try getting your

cream from a different pharmacy. I use Medaus http://www.medaus.com/

Either that or since you're already used to sticking yourself with the

HcG, perhaps IM shots of T would work for you if the cream becomes to

bothersome.

You don't need blood work you were high before just get some Arimidex and start

on a low dose .5 mgs or a half a pill 2 days a week or .25 mgs every 3 days. My

itching would stop in 3 hrs. after taking it.
