To get a better understanding of what is going on in the generic drug

market, you have to do some research into the World Trade

Organization program to get generic drugs made in India and Brazil to

be sold to poor third world countries.

While the big US pharmcy companies probably did not like the WTO

program, they have in many instances lifted the patent or granted

liciences to make their drugs in Brazil and India.

Any drug made under licience is going to be the exact chemical

formula and manufactured in the same way that they would be made here

in the US, Canada, or Germany.

The UN and WTO and the big US parmacies who are allowing their drugs

to be made underlicience have a big say on the quality control and

safety of these meds.

While I dont know if HGH is on list, I would not have a problem with

medications made via the WTO authroized phramcy in India or Brazil.

As you look into this UN/WTO program, it starts to make you wonder

why the big pharmacies charge us the prices that they do.

Well I can tell you one thing allot of these drugs that get pumped into

these 3rd world markets are going to go straight into the black market and

get sold to the highest bidder (e.g. online foreign drug stores) most of

these countries not to mention the UN are corrupt!

I'm not a big advocate for the " BIG US DRUG COMPANIES " but if they expend

the resources to produce these drugs then they are entitled to profit from

them...

And to say they would be of the same grade/quality as produced in the US

would be a misstatement. The US companies only have such quality controls

because of FDA regulations and the threat of law suite due to injury if they

where to be found out of compliance!

I have and have had families work for some major US drug companies and from

first hand experience/knowledge I have witnessed them on many occasions try

to circumvent FDA regulations in order to gain more profit, it is only when

someone is injured or the FDA during an audit finds them to be non compliant

due they change their practices and when this happens the FDA places in

house representatives at their facilities sometimes for years to keep check

on their processes.

My point is they need to be watched here in the US and be threatened by

consumer lawsuits in order to stay in line what would make you think they

would would operate in a foreign country without these threats with any

resemblance of ethics?

And to another point as more of these 3rd grade generic drugs hit the market

and are available online I'm certain we as Americans who want to purchase

high grade legal medications are going to pay an even higher premium in

order to make up the difference.
