Guest guest
Is there anyone else out there who went to a doctor to get a vasectomy and got castrated instead? I'm having a hard time coping since I've lost my job, career, business, credit, family and wife over this. Any help would be apreciated. Guest guest
I once read about a guy that had a vasectomy and ended up with low testosterone. It was at WebMD at the Uro site. The Dr. there told him sometimes the is an infection that is hard to find from having a vasectomy. It took a special test and special meds to fix once he did this his levels came back up. You can try and go to WebMD and see if you can post to this Dr. it was over 5 yrs ago I read about this. http://boards.webmd.com/webx?14488 (DOT) O4zka6MTdIA.0@.5987f442 mrhaislip <mrhaislip@...> wrote: Is there anyone else out there who went to a doctor to get a vasectomy and got castrated instead? Guest guest
Castrated in the sense that my testicles are just hanging for decorations. My total testosterone, with TRT is 34 and my free testosterone without TRT is 2ng/dl. I used to own a very sucessful Teakwondo school and I have lost that, and my wife and family, due to the stress and tremendous medical bills and past due taxes (from not being able to work for a year). And I have to pay for all of my meds and treatments because & White refuses to pay for those expenses. And, no, there is no law suit because you can not sue a doctor in Texas anymore unless you are dead. Thank you, george w. bush. > > Is there anyone else out there who went to a doctor to get > > a vasectomy > > and got castrated instead? Guest guest
Get your doctor to wright you a Rx for injectable Testesterone. It is a lot cheaper than the gels. I thought mine was low at 120 (Range 240 to 850). I get 300mg every 10 days from my regular doctor, (medicare and supplement pay for it.) I understand that Testesterone is fairly cheap if you self inject. What were the ranges on your blood test? Regular family doctors are usualy not as expensive as uro's. May be worth looking into. Guest guest
Janne, I was diagnosed with lyme disease in the late 90's. I received my ICD in 2005. Nobody has ever suggested that it has anything to do with my heart disorder. But it is a horrible disease and it certainly could have contributed. > > > > > > ________________________________ > > From: Janne > > Anyone else with heart problems from Lyme disease? > > Janne: > > I once fell in love with a girl who drank too many margueritas. does that count? > > Seriously, lyme disease is one of those that most people have heard of but know little about specifically. The doctors keep coming up with so many new diseases for us to worry about that I have had to put my paranoia on a tight schedule so that I do not overreact with my overreactions. > > From California where there's really no lyme or lesion to my jokes about illnesses. > > Bill >
Guest guest
At the risk of being serious, inoffensive and even germane to the subject (and thereby ruining the festering-jester reputation I have spent a life time building up, let me make a comment about "unrelated-to-heart disorder" diseases. I apologize for the unexpected display of any good taste and cardiac relevance that somehow might slip in with these remarks. The diminished capacity of one organ usually places some sort of extra burden on one or more of the other organs as the body tries to adjust. The three most common organs to be so affected are the heart, lungs and stomach/G.I. tract. It may not be readily noticeable, but it is there. If nothing else, any infectuous disease, toxicity or condition that places a burden on the immune system can potentially have serious affects on the heart for patients with compromised cardio-vascular capabilities. (That's us.) In 1985, thirteen years before getting my ICD,I had sub-acute endocarditis, and that is a serious threat to heart health. My ICD was needed later for other reasons, but the endocarditis did have its effect on my heart functions at the time. It is IMO unwise for any of us to consider other diseases and conditions we may develop as being totally unrelated to our own cardiac health. Knowing what those conditions are and the full spectum of their effects will make us better prepared to monitor our own heart stuff. There is--unfortunately for me--nothing to be done for what I have. It's not Lyme disease. It's some sort of Lame disease. From California where Luyme disease is most often sprad from drinking mexican beer from the bottle.
