Guest guest
Testosterone is Testosterone. Once the ester cleaves off of the cyponate and other injectables the molecule is for all intents and purposes identical to the testosterone found in gels, creams, and pellets. It is all made from the same yams and soy whether it is generic or name brand. Andractim on the other hand is chemically different as androstanalone is a man made version of DHT. As for your endo's claim that gels and patches do not deliver enough Test to treat hypgonadism, I question this assertion. I have never heard of any one liking the patches and that they typically do not absorb as well as creams. My own experince has validated this claim. If you were using a 10% quality compound Testosterone cream and you apply it to the inside of your wrists, barring a very major absorbtion problem, you can get your T up pretty high. I know this because mine was at 1200 plus. With any topically applied testosterone whether generic or name brand the key variable is absorbtion. So someone who's skin does not absorb the Testosterone very well will have a harder time getting his total T into the 800 plus level, but it can be done. At the same time Body builders are not going to like to use creams and gels because they are shooting for supraphysiological T levels that are much easier acheived with injectables. I agree with Phil- T is T once the ester group cleaves away from the T moleclue in the case of injectables, and the only differences are the means of devivery into the blood stream. Each delivery method whether it be injectables, pellets, creams, gels, patches and oral test undecanote have their advantages and disadvanages.
