Guest guest
Steve, My dog has lung cancer. I've had her on 2 tabs of iodine (12.5 mgs each of iodoral) for 3 months (I put tabs in a little piece of hot dog), turmeric on her food, coconut oil, vit D3 (in hot dog), and I do zapping on her lungs (Hulda 's protocol) and her vet is beyond astounded that she's getting better. (The vet wanted to put her down and told me there was no cure and it would be cruel to watch her slowly die.) But when I stop zapping, the coughing and gagging comes back. It's a pain to zap (must hold these copper handles near her lungs for 7 mins x 3 (20 min breaks in between). Just wanted to share what is working for her with you in case you could use that info. Also I make homemade meatloaf and that's all she's eating. Best, Deborah
Guest guest
Hey Deborah, just wondering if you'd ever considered giving her that meatloaf raw? Cooking the meat degrades it and they're designed to eat it raw. My four Papillons act like starving little wolves with raw meat! BTW, how did you figure out how much of everything to add to your dog's diet to get the good results? xoo > > Steve, > My dog has lung cancer. Guest guest
, I haven't thought about making the meatloaf raw. The problem is that it wouldn't 'loaf' together without cooking. I mean, I add 3 eggs with brown rice, free-range meat, and some cooked veggies. The eggs need to cook to hold the rice/meat/veggies together. This is purely experimental. I am under no guidance. I have no idea if she's getting all the nutrients that she needs. Plus, I eat the meatloaf, too! deborah > > > > Steve, > > My dog has lung cancer. Guest guest
Deborah, your dog does not need brown rice/raw eggs. Mix the raw meat with some veggies, about 1/3 mixture should be assorted veggies. Grind it all together. When serving, add a bit of seaweed flakes @ fish oil. It's called a BARF diet. Dogs evolved to eat raw. I fed my toy fox terrier raw most of her life @ she attacks that food like a ravenous wolf. Even her vet recommends it. Guest guest
Ground Turkey is a good raw meat for both cats and dogs, plus it is easier on the pocket book. There are also companies that make raw dehydrated food for your pets (very expensive) sometimes you can find them on sale at the pet stores. Also call animal rescues in your area, they get alot of donated food. I feed 2x a week at a sanctuary and they give me the raw dehydrated food that they get in. Our oldest dog ( 11 years) was diagnosed with renal failure and was not doing well...he is now like a pup again. When I use the ground turkey I cook up some long grain brown rice to mix in for a filler.
