Guest guest
I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma a year ago. The initial diagnoses & staging procedures done by the NHS of a biopsy, CT & PET scan revealed that I had a diffuse high grade stage 1 NHL with one palpable tumour in my breast. I decided to go onto a purely alternative protocol of diet (mainly organic food, green juices, etc) supplements & regular detox procedures. I feel physically & mentally strong & healthy. The tumour hasn't grown, in fact if anything it got smaller. Regular Navarro tests show that my health is improving and I am close to no detectable cancer cells. During the year I regularly went to see the oncologist. I wanted to stay in touch in case I developed symptoms and so I would have the option of the initially suggested route of chemotherapy. Now after what I would call a very successful year I requested another PET scan to check if I really do as well as I feel and as the Navarro tests suggest. I was told by the oncologist that as I am not agreeing to the recommended medical treatment of either chemotherapy or radiation therapy, I wasn't eligible for any further tests unless I agree to embark on the chemo or radiation therapy route now. Has anybody here had any similar experiences with the NHS in the UK? If yes, do you have any information on the legal situation of such case? Thank you for your time Nuro
Guest guest
This is outrageous and every time I hear similar stories it boils my blood! I don't know much about the UK but I've read these same types of stories through my various groups. Most of the members end up going to a naturopath or a recommended doctor that will work with you. You just have to find another doctor. How ridiculous is it for him to suggest that you take chemo/radiation first, before he will help you!!!!! That right there shows you where his motivation is and should make you more than confident that you did the right thing by choosing your own route. Your story is very similar to mine - I was also dx'd with NHL 2a a year ago, and walked away from the doctors completely. I spent this past year mostly doing very well but wasting a lot of time " cheating " . However, I am not going to stress about any tests because they just increase my anxiety. I base it on how I feel and the activity of my tumor, which, rather unfortunately, is on my neck, so its very obvious when I'm not sticking to my protocol because it reacts. But unless I feel like something is wrong, then I'm not going to bother with going back for any tests, as long as I feel good and stick to my program, I just believe that I am getting better and will be cancer-free when my tumor is gone. I would like to do the Navarro test though. Hopefully you can locate a naturopath in your country that will be glad to help you!!! > > I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma a year ago. Guest guest
Just tell the doctor that you are not taking anything and your cancer is not growing. Leaglly, he is bound to review your tumour status through tests and scans till you dont treat yourself. you can even threat him a legal lawsuit. -- Yours truly, Dr Khalid M Munir, RMO, Government Central Hospital, Dammam, Saudi Arabia website: http://drkhalidmunir.googlepages.com
