Guest guest
Tony, I read your letter to Janice about Immunocal and am interested in the fact that you say it is reimbursible by Medicare. Are you positive about that as I am fighting breast cancer return and I have medicare and would take a product like this but cannot afford it. Are you saying I would have to put out the money up front to order it and then try to convince them to reimburse me and out of the total cost how much do they reimburse? These are critical questions that I'd appreciate knowing the answers to if you in fact know the answers. Thanks Judy Re: Leukemia > Janice, YES... there is something...it is reimburseable by Medicare / > Medicaid for nutritional support....and has the side benefit of being the > most potent immune support product I have ever seen on the market and yet is > natural....Don't ignore this product...it is being used in many hospitals and > clinics and is widely accepted by holistic practitioners and Medical doctors > alike.......Info follows: > > The purpose of this letter is to inform you of a product that you should be > very interested in knowing about. Guest guest
Judy Tony tells no lies. This is re-imbursable by medeicare and medicade as of January of this years. I live in Canada and we don't have that option here, even though I do know of folks who have convinced the insurance company that this would be worth there while. It really depends on the type of coverage that you have and I have told people this and the type of insurance they have with medicade doesn't cover them. Hopefully your's does Judy, I am going to pray that you do. It is definitly worth looking into In my opinion and everything I have learned these last two year. Cancer is BAD CELLS and the only way to correct the problem within the cells, is to nurish them with a product called Immunocal. This protein in your cells called glutathione is no less important then your DNA. They both have their place and their job within our body. All these things that we are able to do to try and help ourselves fight cancer are wonderful tools, but if you don't correct what Science knows about this protein called glutathione if you don't give the cells the necessary building blocks, your bodies own built in protector glutathione cannot possibly do what it is supposed to and disease and sickness is inevitable. This I believe is why some people get well for awhile but the cancer keeps coming back. Give your cells the opportunity to have the building blocks for gluathione and you have the greatest fight going on. Your own body at work trying to save you. Guest guest
Hello Janice, I have had friends treat their loved ones when they visited, and do group prayer work for them(given Essiac Tea and etc). Guest guest
I will post some evidence in several messages concerning Leukemia. Of course, there are different kinds of Leukemia. Hi, I am reproducing Marie White's letter exactly as it was written to me. What he does not say is that when they came out to visit us and talk about the use of the Flaxseed Oil he was given less than two weeks to live at that time. He was spending most of his time in a wheelchair. Cliff Mr. Beckwith, I am listing Eursal's " testimony " below. Feel free to cut any portion that you may feel isn't worth repeating! I tend to become very " chatty " when writing [or talking!]. Ha! Marie White From Eursal white I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in June, 1997. I was told that CLL is the slowest acting form of Leukemia, but, unlike other forms, it would never go into remission. I was also told to wait as long as possible before starting chemotherapy simply because the more you take the more you have to take and the chemo often kills you before the Leukemia does. Unfortunately, I had to take my first chemotherapy treatment in November of 1997. I did really well for one year and then had to repeat it. The second treatment in November, 1998 went against me. My body quit making blood. I had blood transfusions about every two weeks until February when my own blood developed anti-bodies that couldn't be matched. A bone marrow biopsy that same month confirmed large tumors in the bone marrow showing very little red blood. I was given a total of four units of unmatched blood on February 19 & 20 and then started another regimen of a different chemo drug. My doctor suggested 4-6 treatments of the new drug to be taken 3 weeks apart. During this time I had to get some work done on my car and the mechanic who serviced it told ;me about flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. He put me in touch with Cliff Beckwith who discussed in great detail the benefits of the combination of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. Mr. Beckwith then sent me one of his tapes which was very interesting and informative. My wife searched the Internet for information on Dr. Budwig and her winning combination. After evaluating all the information we had gathered, we made the decision to try the flaxseed oil. I added this to my diet following my second chemo treatment. When I went for my third chemo treatment, my blood work was looking better. When I went back for my fourth chemo treatment, the blood work was really looking great. The doctor suggested at that point we discontinue chemo for a while to which I heartily agreed. I continue to take the flaxseed oil/cottage cheese daily. After nine months, my white blood count remains under 20,000 and I feel great. I praise God for sending Mr. Beckwith into my life and making me aware of Dr. Johann Budwig's research. I tell everyone what this combination has done for me and recommend it to everyone I meet, especially to cancer victims. leukemia Can anyone please tell me if they've had any experiences with leukemia, and what they've found to work for this? I was also wondering if the flax-oil cottage cheese mixture would work for this. Thanks for all of your help, whenever I ask! We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people out there to help us when in need. Thanks millions!!!!!! your friend,

Guest guest
One of the families in our local support group had a daughter with DS who just before her 2nd Birthday was diagnosed with leukemia and she died just this past June. She was just over 3. And she changed the hearts of many people in a very short time. Her family is remarkable and I treasure their friendship and I will always hold Riely in my heart. I do not know the exact statistics but our kids with Ds have a higher chance of developing leukemia and so 's Dr. has her screened once a year. Then at age 7 Sara was DX with epilepsy and my world was upside down. I've always handled the DS good but uggg a medical DX was scary. I used to read the obits daily until I read about kids dying from seizures. Seizures scar the brain Today we take one day at a time and I count my blessings.........even when Sara calls me a " jerk face " heehee Kathy mom to Sara 10.............Sara now tells me when I say " yes " to her requests......... " I knew you loved me " ahhhhhhh

This is not a good way to live. I could scare myself so bad that after a while, I'd be paralyzed with fear. Unfortuneately, we do live in a very stressful and dangerous world, but the one day at a time and the count your blessings works very well for me...and a good sense of humor helps tremendously if you can maintain one. >
Guest guest
Here's an off the top of my head summary. First, there is an increasing diagnosis of pre-leukemia in infants with down syndrome. This usually clears up on its own, but sometimes leads to AML in young children. I believe that the increase in diagnosis largely comes from looking rather than any change in the frequency. AML seems about 20 times more common in young children with down syndrome, but it also seems more responsive to treatment than with similar aged children without leukemia. By about 10, the most common leukemia seems to be ALL and the frequency is not so dramatically elevated. My daughter, now 29, is undergoing treatment for AML. The doctors are optimistic that she will achieve long term remission and we're hoping that they are right. She has taken this disease as she did other medical problems of the past 18 months as well as any human could. She's been cheerful even when things were very bad. That said, I have lost two good friends to leukemia. One had down syndrome and died in her early 20's. The other was a NDA friend at work who passed away in his mid fifties. I miss them both but have to relish the times I had with them. Rick dad to Jan
Guest guest
We have had quite a few children in our area come down with leukemia and I have attended more funerals than I ever imagined I would. One of our families was so appreciative of all that we did for them while they were in the throes of dealing with the diagnosis, the treatment and ultimately the death of their young one, that the mom remained active with our support group as the hospitality chair, scheduling meal delivery to families in need because their child was hospitalized. At her daughter's funeral, some people in the row in front of us ( a group of local support group moms) said, (loud enough for us and the mom to hear) " well this is all for the best. " (meaning the death of the child with DS) The mom said she when she turned upon hearing that and saw our faces behind the people, she knew great comfort in seeing all of us who were mourning for the loss of her child and recognized the value of her life. Guest guest
Something really ironic ... I had Stefanie's yearly bloodwork include leukemia tests since birth. WHen she turned 16 our doc said chances are so slim, no need to continue test. Ok by me. Two months later one of our neighbor's (age 16, non DS) comes down with wicked leukemia, spends two years in and out of hospital doing chemo etc ( in remission now) Cheryl in VA

Guest guest
Sue, There is good news and there is bad news. The good news is the more important. There is a very significantly higher chance of leukemia with young children with down syndrome. That said, the odds for survival are significantly better for children with leukemia than for those without. See, there is some health benefit to having down syndrome. I'm on the other end dealing with leukemia in an adult. This is much less common and even more frightening. At this point, Jan has been declared to be in remission. We're calling it cured, although we know that she is only back to the pre-leukemia stage and it certainly may come back sometime. If Jan stays healthy, I'm thinking about doing a fund-raiser for the Leukemia Society next summer. Jan has said that she would like to go back and climb Half Dome in Yosemite again. That was a pretty big feat, but looking at how well she is doing, it may well be possible. I'm in negotiation with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and it if all pans out, I might come on-line and ask for a modest level of support for this young woman. She will have a climbing support team consisting of family and friends. If necessary, I'll work with the Park Service to ensure that we can have adequate space for our high camp. They limit the numbers there and it can be competitive to get the hike-in campground space. The Leukemia Society has a reasonable chance of getting the 'cure'. A whole lot of progress has been made in recent years. Not so for down syndrome where the 'cure' is to kill the child through abortion. Sigh! People will never know what they have missed. Guest guest
Our ped mentioned that because Tim had a severe leukemoid (sp?) reaction at birth, his chances of developing leukemia are much higher than that of a child with Down syndrome. I had understood that the risk lessened as he got older, but the ped thinks not. Any ideas? re: leukemia Sue, There is good news and there is bad news. Guest guest
Hi, Cliff , thanks for your response. Do you know of any other treatments which would be effective with CLL. Chemo is definitely not the answer and even NCI admits that. I am seeking some alt treatmenets for my husband. I am reading a lot of information and some of it is contradicting. Thanks very much, Alicja > Leukemia > > Hi, > > So far, we have not seen flaxseed oil and cottage cheese miss being > effective with Leukemia and it did not matter what form of Leukemia. > > Cliff > > > Get HUGE info at http://www.cures for cancer.ws, and post your own links there. Guest guest
Yes, although the main goal of the formulators was the carcinoma, sarcoma and leukemia viruses. Guest guest
Newborn Vitamin K administration linked to higher cancer rate for 1-6 year old children SOURCE: British Medical Journal, 316:189-193, Jan 17, 1998 In this study of over 4000 children, published in the British Medical Journal (1998), scientists did not identify an increased risk for " all " child cancers for infants given Vitamin-K injections. However, when scientists went one step further and investigated individual types of cancer, they did in fact find an increased risk for the cancer lymphoblastic leukemia. The study compared cancer rates for infants born in hospitals where all children received Vitamin-K to hospitals where only one-third of infants received Vitamin-K. CHEM-TOX COMMENT: Vitamin K administration is often given to newborns under the premise that it is important in reducing the risk of hemorrhagic disease (excessive bleeding). Because of previous studies showing genetic damage occurring in blood cells of animals given vitamin-K, there has been concern that negative effects could occur in children given Vitamin-K. A number of follow up studies looking for increased cancer risk in children given Vitamin-K have been conducted with the majority showing no increased risk. However, these studies have investigated " overall " cancer risk, thereby diluting potential to identify increases in specific cancers. This particular study, which investigated specific child cancers, was in fact able to identify an increased cancer risk for lymphoblastic leukemia. Since risk for excessive bleeding in newborns is higher for mothers taking certain prescription medications dudring pregnancy - studies need to be conducted to determine if beneficial effects of Vitamin-K are significant for mothers who are not taking these specific prescription medications during pregnancy. Anyways, does anyone have some articles off hand regarding Leukemia and vaccines or Leukemia and the vitamin k shot? Thanks Dan
