Guest guest
Most of you know this story already. A bit of it is in my previous post. But having symptoms of clinical depression is no small matter whether it's from low testosterone or low seratonin. Once I started having limited success on monthly shots (long before switching to weekly shots) I asked my doctor #2 when I could get off the AD meds? He told me " , your injections are beginning to work and we don't really know whether or not you have clinical depression. " If you have clinical depression and get off of your meds too soon you could end up like before but worse this time since it would take longer to get back on the meds if I get off too soon. This is what I was told whether it was good advice or not. I took the AD meds just over a year before stopping them. My symptoms of clinical depression were related to low T and I am primary. A man I know at the Church is secondary and he had symptoms of clinical depression due to low T. We both manage by doing different things. I take my T shots weekly, he takes bromocriptine to keep the size of his pituitary tumor down. Brothers, although this is very common it can become very complicated in sorting out. I urge all of the guys experiencing symptoms of clinical depression due to this disorder to exercise a great deal of patients in this area. You have to come to this forum and talk about it. Tell us what is going on, what you are doing and if you are having any success. A lot of us have been there and know exactly what it's like. I signed onto the forum late in my ordeal but not too late. I was able to find answers to most of my questions either on my own or the hard way except for the last ones. That's where the forum comes in. Thanks Phil, you gave me the ticket to success and I owe you and the forum a great deal of gratitude. Guys, shall we begin to call him Dr. Phil?
