CD4 machine - Sangli Civil Hospital

Dear All,

CD4 machine in Sangli Civil hospital is not functioning since 2nd July 2009.

The problem is that the hospital has informed the activists that it will

require 9 lakhs to repair this machine and thus they have no idea if it will

ever get repaired. NOW WHAT?

I wonder if the other centers are having simmilar problems. Now that the CD4

machines have been around for some time and they would be some reports of

problems with them. I am reminded of the fancy machines donated by many

organisations to the government hospitals that work for the fist few years and

then rust forever. I sincerly hope the CD4 machine in sangli starts working soon

or we get a new one. WE need it in Sangli.
