Karntaka's RGUHS offers Fellowship in HIV medicine for Doctors

Dear ALL,

The technical and advocacy efforts of Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement has

finally yielded results.

Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement was supported by Karnataka Health Promotion

Trust and KSAPS in this venture. The World’s largest health University –

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka has issued the

following notification offering the India’s first University accredited

‘Fellowship in HIV Medicine’ for Medical Doctors.

The course details and the application are available in the RGUHS website. The

course, to start with, is being offered at Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement’s

Vivekananda Memorial Hospital, Saragur in Mysore District and Kempegowda

Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore.

Only 10 seats are available. Interested candidates need to apply to the

University before 4th July 2009. Course is commencing from 15th July 2009.

Pursuant to orders of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of

Health Sciences issued applications from eligible MBBS and BDS candidates for

enrolment of Fellowship Programme in HIV for the academic year 2009-10. The

application and ordinance governing Fellowship Programme in HIV will be

published on the RGUHS website

www.rguhs.ac.in from24:06:2009. The last date for submission of completely

filled application form to RGUHS is 04/07/2009.
