Guest guest
I recently had a saliva test that indicated low Progesterone. In doing some research, I found out that Testosterone replacement therapy while suppressing natural testosterone production, also suppresses progesterone production in the testicles. Additionally, while Pregnenolone supplementation can increase Progesterone, it's unclear how effective this is. In all the time I've been on TRT, not once has Progesterone been tested. I have been tested for DHEAs regularly and supplementation with 100 mg/day is needed to get close to the middle of the lab reference range and I'm still not into the optimum range for DHEAs as recommend by LEF. I'd like to get my progesterone levels up to closer to mid range if not the optimum range, whatever that happens to be. Has anyone here dealt with this problem, taken pregnenolone to resolve this, or used progesterone cream, or perhaps some other method to raise progesterone levels? It's difficult to find information on free verses total progesterone, so I'm looking at just increasing total (bound+free). -- Steve - dudescholar4@...
