Guest guest
Shari, If it's still experimental how did you get it, if I may ask, glad to hear it helps. Judy Interferon Judy, I have been on oral interferon, 250 units four times a day for a year and a half. My results have been wonderful with no side effects. It costs around $130 per month. Is still in trials for CFS and FM; however, going full blast for others. Guest guest
Sue, That's what I thought. Maybe he meant to say Imuran. He always mentioned Imuran but last week is the first time he said Interferon. He said that they are treating AIH differently now according to Mayo. He said that interferon seems to work as well as Prednisone with less side effects. Just wondering. Thanks, Athie Re: [ ] interferon > Hi Athie; > > I didn't think they used Interferon for AIH. Guest guest
Steve, Flax seed Oil is very unstable, what little is in any pill--whih is inadequate dosage and cosly compared to Flax oil. It must be constantly refrigerated which capsules probably were not--even if they were large enough or if she took a lot. Barleans or Omega Nutrition make a good HIGH LIGNAN FLAX OIL. Which is the kind you need for the Budwig Flax Oil & Cottage Cheese Therapy. The lignans usually sink to the bottom of the bottle and solidify. You have to stir with a chopstick to break up the lignans and get them in solution. Then shake to evenly distribute the lignans. Good luck, Arnold

Guest guest
One suggestion is to use cold pressed flax seed oil with the cottege cheese. The capsules will not hack it. Hope someone has advice for you. Good luck. Blessings. Bev. C. Guest guest
If you order from Barleans and tell them you have cancer, they give you a discount. Bev. C. You can't do anything about the length of your life but you can do something about its width and depth. It is just not an antineoplastic like the cancer chemo. It may not be in the " same class " but it is still considered chemotherapy. Guest guest
Interferon is a synthetic protein...one that your body makes on its own to give cells more energy to resist the attack of a pathogen. The PEGylated part of the therapy is chemical that binds to the synthetic protein " hiding " it from your immune system so it will not be rejected by your cells. Chemotherapy disrupts the ions in rapidly dividing cells...thus killing them. Unfortunately it kills not only tumor cells, but cells in the bone marrow and intestinal lining and follicle cells because it cannot discriminate between healthy and unhealthy cells. Guest guest
thanks for the great info-- Questions ? What can be done to hellp the killing of the intestinal cells ? When you say chemotherapy, do you mean ribaviron and interferon ? both or just one ? what are follicle cells ? what is the danger with the thyroid ? Guest guest
Hi...Chemotherapy is very different from treatments for Hep C. Follicle cells, are targeted because they are rapidly diving..highly energenic..like the cells that produce hair, and cells in the thyroid gland that store iodine and produce thyroid hormone..which controls the metabolic function of every cell in your body. (highly dependent on the movement of ions) There are cells that line the digestive tract that are part of the lymphatic system (this system rounds up pathogens, and gets them out of your body) The cells that line the intestine are also highly energenic and rapidly dividing. When these cells are injured, or killed off too rapidly you can imagine the how unprotected the body would be. Chemo disrupts the movements of ions, which are necessary for cells to function properly...affecting not only cancer cells but healthy cells as well. A cancerous cell is one that simply is diving " unchecked " . All cells have a programmed life and death cycle...cancer cells simply keep dividing and growing...so the aim of chemotherapy is remove something the cell needs to do this, in order to make it stop. Forcing them into the death cycle (apoptosis). But removal of cells that have died is very tough on your immune system when too many cells are in this phase at once. Scavenger cells that are part of the immune system have engulf these dead cells and get rid of them.
Guest guest
Wow, thanks for all the information---I will have to study it to understand it all, but this really helps me to understand more what is going on with my body, and really appreciate it. Is there the same funny linings and ion thing in our throats ? near what I would say is near my apple ? I can feel a soarness when I swallow, like a sore throat but not the same as that---and it hurts on teh outside of the body too, when I push on it ? Guest guest
What do you suggest taking for cancer of the tongue, neck and now in the lungs????? Guest guest
You can do blood electrification with any medication as long as you do it at least 15 minutes before your first druggy dose for the day. That includes your ozone therapy.Magnetic Pulsers pose no problem before or after.A good blood electrifier puts out 30 volts. Where'd you get a wimpy 9 volt unit? Throw it away and buy a good one.>I'm taking now "3 million UL interferon ALPHA 2b" each every other days for advanced stage of leukemia CLL/LYMPHOMA. My questions:in the same time that interferon (INTRON)injections, can I do: 1)Beck Blood Zapper? 2)Magpulser? I must buy one. I do also ozonotherapy MAHT(twice a week) and I would like to begin ozonated saline IV.Is "o3 saline IV" compatible with BBE? I have an other question:my cheaper BBzapper goes from -9 to +9 volts/1 cell;frequently, I cannot do BBzapper because I don't feel the electric pulses on my wrists or hands /even with sea water. What is that? Guest guest
Hi everyone: Just spoke to the parent of the 24 year old with melanoma stage II. They are looking into interferon. I have told him it does not work, but I do not have any data. Anyone with data please forward. Thanks, Lois
