Guest guest
THERE'S SEVERAL THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP SWALLOW THE OLIVE OIL FOR THE LIVER CLEANSE. ONE IS DRINK IT OUT OF A STRAW MAKING SURE THE STRAW IS TOWARD THE BACK OF THE THROAT. I LIKE TO CHUG IT FIRST FOLLOWED BY 8 OUNCES OF GRAPEFRUIT AND LEMON JUICE MIXED WITH 8 OUNCES OF ICE COLD WATER. IT TAKES SO LONG TO DRINK IT BY THE TIME YOU FINISH THE OLIVE OIL TASTE IS PRETTY MUCH GONE. IF YOU MIX THE OLIVE OIL CITRUS TOGETHER KEEPING IT STIRRED UP WELL HELPS SOME PEOPLE SO THAT THE OIL DOESN'T FLOAT AND IT'S THE LAST THING YOU TASTE. HOPE THIS HELPS. Guest guest
The liver cleanse will work, but so does the gall bladder cleanse -- I passed green stones just like I was told. Actually they were like big chunks of green sand -- lots of it. I am going to KEEP MY GALL BLADDER, thank you! Guest guest
Hi Tracey, I've done it, if you want to give me a phone call I can tell you more......email me if you do and I'll send you my number privately. Remember, when you do this cleanse you aren't sick so its not like you get diarrhea in the usual way with all the usual symptoms. And it does work. I didn't present with liver/gallstone probs and I got rid of heaps of them. I didn't get around to doing the second one as I got a job and my weekends were taken up. Guest guest
Well, Im on the gallstone list and theyre a wealth of info. Theres lots of variations. Heres the links from the gallstone group. Sorry, they dont seem to be hyperlinks, you;ll have to cut and paste them. Some say you have to do a parasite cleanse first, we all have parasites in some form, but I didn't. Some say to take ornithine, I didn't, it was too expensive for me here in NZ. And I didn't know if it'd work. I suffered nausea and a headache in the night, but now I see thats because the epsom salts dehydrated me, I would drink far more water now. I also didn't do a clean out before hand, or a fast. It still works. On the day you plan to do it, say Friday morning, dont eat anything too fatty, I made sure I ate because I didn't want to be hungry. Stop eating at 2pm, make up a the epsom salts mix, 3 cups of water with 4 tablespoons of epsom salts. PUt this in the fridge because it goes down better really cold. Some people suggest you drink this in a straw so it doesn't taste as revolting. I found it awful....theres a theory that you're low in magnesium if you cant stand the epsom salts. At 6 pm drink a 1/4 of this mixture, which will be 3/4 of a cup. At 8 pm drink another 1/4. At 10pm mix up half a cup of olive oil, its extra virgin or virgin. I used light olive oil. And mix it with a big grapefruit or two small one. I liked this taste. Some people dont so drink it with a straw. Go to bed and lie still for 20 minutes. Some say to lie on your side, cant remember which, but if you visit those sites you'll read what others have done. Believe me I felt movement. I hadn't had to visit the toilet at this stage, but by 11.30pm I did. Remember its not like when you're sick and you have diarrhea. You dont feel anything other than a quickening of your bowels. I also think the fear of wondering what was going to happen didn't allow me to have a restful night. On waking, some say 6am, I didnt care, you get up and drink another 1/4 of epsoms salts mix, and then 2 hours later you drink the last lot. I wouldn't plan to go anywhere, I've read some people have, when you gotta go you gotta go. You'll see alot of chaff in the bowl, but you should also see pea looking substances which are gallstones. They're not the hard calcified ones, but you may move those. Some people have green ones, others tan ones. Ive heard alot of people have better results in subsequent cleanses. I started eating around 1pm that day, and ate lightly for the rest of the day. I was passing stones for a few days after. Other than sleep deprivation I didn't feel bad at all. Remember if you have gallstones, then youre liver will be full of stones as well because the gallbladder is the overflow bile bag for your liver. Guest guest
, I don't know about a zapper -- what is that? I don't know about the kidney deal either -- I would guess something to do with cranberry juice?? I would like to suggest that you get help FROM your kids by talking to them and if they are very little, get your husband or a close friend to stand by with some assistance. You CAN do this. The cleansing that I know about -- gall bladder and liver is do able -- for the most part you do a major dump FAST -- not a hard time like die-off is for me. I have had to talk to my daughter for YEARS about my migraines and she has understood what it is like to be motherless (and fatherless in a sense -- I have been a single mom since she was an infant). She would bring me a cold wet cloth and a drink since she was very young and she learned that she could live LONG on yogurt if necessary when Mommy was sick. Fortunately, I would bounce back enough to feed that poor baby soon enough. However, when I lost my fiance' in 1992, she made it with an almost vegetative Mommy -- yogurt in the fridge and cereal in the box sometimes. I was horrible, but fortunately, I recovered from that paralyzed time in my life too. She is a very healthy and outgoing, ambitious daughter who understands that Moms are fragile and sometimes out of commission. I am amazed at how resilient she is. What a trooper! I believe your kids love Mommy enough to understand -- I am talking as young as 4 years here. God bless you and your " understanding " kids! Guest guest
I'm not familiar with this particular cleanse, Sheri, but it's almost the same as the one I know. The only difference is that you drink more water and it's mixed with epsom salts for opening the ducts so that the stones can pass easily. This one only takes a couple of days and you do them at 2-week intervals until you feel that your system is clean. Donna Liver cleanse Hi Everyone: It is difficult to know whether one or the other is the reason for the other. Thus when I said " which came first the chicken or the egg " I agree with you that the liver must play a huge role. I remember when I first became sick with hyperthyroidism, according to the blood test my doctor said that something was going on with my liver. Actually the hyperthyroidism came a year or so after the back pain which could have or should have indicated a liver problem but was never diagnosed or worked on as a liver problem which was the cause of the hyperthyroidism. confusing. ¿Who knows? Yesterday I started a liver cleanse program (2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 1 lemon, juiced, pinch of cayenne, 1/4 slice of ginger (mashed) 2 tablespoons of water.) taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, repeated for 1 week. Now, even if this liver cleanse does get rid of gall stones or cleanse the liver my question is ¿Why, How and What caused the liver problem in the first place? ¿Is recurrence preventable? I am also one of the very fortunate ones that found s site, that was about, " can't remember how long ago " 4 or 5 years at least. I know it was before he created ithyroid. I have thanked him more than once, both written and in my thoughts for being there. I've never had the opportunity to meet him, but, If I ever do I will thank him in person. Have a great day. P.S. Tthis stuff tastes awful, especially first thing in the morning. Well no, especially all the time. Sheri

Guest guest
Yes, I was the same way. No real stones the first time, some sludge. Second time a few stones. I made the mistake of trying my first cleanse during the day, since I was going to be at home all day. I wouldn't recommend that, you want to try to sleep through most of the uncomfortableness. nah > > Another tale from the trenches: > > > > I recently had the joy of my first liver/gallstone flush and would > like to > > caution those new to the game to be pretty sure to start no later > than 3 or > > 4 pm.
