I just posted about a family member with B-Cell Leukemia he is also in need of a

shoulder replacement from overuse as a carpenter and is in a lot of pain. The

VA Dr said that his blood work wasn't good enough to do the surgery yet. I'm

assuming they are talking about his platelets being too low, but he hasn't been

able to get a copy of the blood work for me to see yet….he is working on it. In

the meantime he is in constant pain and he is barely sleeping because of it.

I was thinking about making him a poultice out of comfrey to put over the

painful area, but wasn't sure if it would be safe with his type of cancer. If

someone has experience with herbs and cancer please let me know what you think

and if something might work better for his pain…..could he even possibly take

the comfrey internally?

For low platelets do I just need to make sure he is consuming large amounts of

chlorophyll or is there a better way to raise platelet levels? I have him

juicing twice a day and eating a lot of cilantro and taking a green drink called

Boku superfood. What else can I do for the pain and platelets? He is not on

any medications at all right now and is not undergoing any cancer treatments.
