panic attacks? when reducing arimidex dose.

Hi members,

I'm on 10mg androgel, and not getting the results I had 6 months ago.

I decided to reduce my fairly high prescribed dose of arimidex from

1mg eod to .5mg, since my E2 was coming in at 9, down from around 12

(also low)at the previous test. (I had a value of 80 when first

prescribed adx, but have lost about 25 lbs. since). I realize I need a

few weeks for the hormones to " settle " , but wanted to relate my

experience anyways.

I took the lower dose (after 7 consistent months at the higher dose).

I felt fine, and was awakened early in the next morning by a

healthily functioning reproductive organ. I had a big contented

smile, and felt very calm.

Unfortunately, by mid day I began to experience a pretty intense panic

attack, which was scarily not responsive to a reasonable dosage of

benzodiazepine. It was relieved somewhat by eating, so maybe it was

some kind of hypoglycemia. Same thing happened in the evening.

Today I took my .5mg adx on schedule and feel better, but still

somewhat wobbly.

I've read that high estrogen cnn trigger this. Perhaps also a

suddenly rising amount can do this to? Anyone else had an experience

like this?
