Guest guest
Dear e forum members This is in regards to a nutrition campaign planned in Bangalore as to make the political contestants to bring it as manifesto in this 15th loksaba election. We as members of Bangalore HIV and Aids forum have found hundreds of PLWHAs getting treatment and ART medicines at Bow ring hospital ART center have to travel a long distance from all over karnataka and do not get any food because of their financial condition and also if they miss the line they have to wait for a hole day and some time next day. In order to make the government aware that they have to provide the nutrition supplement for these PLWHAs we the member organizations have taken initiative to provide food pockets twice a week and make the people as well as the department, this intern many have taken responsibility to provide every month one organization is taking responsibility to provide. We want to have a campaign on nutrition in Bangalore addressing the press the need of nutrition supplement to ART users before 10 April 2009. We are seeking the suggestions and guidelines for the same and any similar activities took place in the other parts of our country. Regards P.
