Guest guest Posted December 15, 2008 Report Share Posted December 15, 2008 I have Hypogonadism as well as low T3 and T4, and I am starting a saliva based test for my cortisol. My doctor believes that saliva testing for cortisol is better than blood sample based tests. I have no idea if this is true or just a personal preference. However, I have to get my cortisol check four times during the day so that he can get a bigger testing window. That is a lot of saliva!! I will post my results as soon as I get them.
