Guest guest
Hi - My husband is reading a book about Ozone. In it, it talks about a law in California that says " The legislature intends, by inactment of this act, to allow access by California residents to complimentary and alternative health care practitioners who are not providing services that require medical training and credentials. The legislaturae further finds that these non-medical complimentary and alternative services do not post a known risk to the health and safety of California residents, and that restricting access to those services due to technical violations of the Medical Practice Act is not warranted. " It was signed by Gray in September 2002. It then says " California, the 5th laragest stand alone economy in the world, has for some time led the nation in percentage (estimated at 75%) of health care dollars spent on 'alternative medicine.' Now, that percentage is expected to increase. " My husband thinks they are saying that California spends 75% of its health dollars on alternative treatments. I say there is no way. Can someone in California please help us figure this out? Thanks -- Jan
Guest guest
NO, NO, NO.... The study said that over 75% of the people in California used some form of Alternative Health Care. Don't know exactly how that was defined, however, might have included taking vitamins or other food supplements. Even my old-timer MD takes a few vitamins. -Dave waikikilights wrote: > Hi - My husband is reading a book about Ozone.
