Guest guest
Group I am primary and have been on androgel for 8 months; my dosage is (7.5 mg/day = 3 packets). Androgel works pretty well for me, my anxiety (I was diagnosed with GAD years ago ) is pretty much gone and I feel pretty good most of the time although I still am fatiqued often in the afternoons (i work out for 2 hours=1 hour of cardio, 1 hour of weight training) every early AM. My libido is good, erections are hard (I am 58) and frequent. I just had my testosterone tested again, wanted to know if these numbers are reasonable (reference range are in parantheses) total testosterone = 614 ng/dl (241-827) sex hormone binding globulin = 18 nmol/L (18-47) albumin = 4.8 g/dl (3.6-5.1) free testosterone = 187 pg/ml (34-194) testosterone, free + WB = 410 ng/dl (84-402) thanking everyone in advance; this is a TERRIFIC GROUP!! :-) Kipp C. Guest guest
Hi Kipp and Welcome. You need to keep your Testosterone levels up into the upper 1/3 of your labs range for a young man you look like your there but still have fatigue. So maybe go to 10 grams of gel. Also check your Estradiol " E2 " if this is high it will keep the testosteone from doing it's job and you will not feel as good as you can. Hi E2 will kill your sex life and did give me Panic Attacks. Try to keep your E2 down with your SHBG this low I have about the same as you and keep my E2 at 15pg/ml. It's best to try to keep this between 10 to 30 best at 20 but your SHBG is low so keeping this lower helps more. I use Arimirdex to keep mine down I cut the pill into 4 parts and take one part .25mgs every 3 days. Here is a good link to read. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html My testis got very small after being on TRT for 23yrs so I got my Dr. to let me add in HCG this makes your testis make there own testosterone as much as the are able to make. Plus being on TRT your LH is shut off and all the LH cells in your body don't work so adding in HCG I feel much better. You can read about this at Dr. 's site he puts his testing and treatment on there for you and your Dr. free. Go to www.allthingsmale.com and read TRT: A Recipe for Success and his HCG update. We also stated a Forum for him and you can post to him at this link. http://musclechatroom.com/forum/ kipp kruse <kckruse@...> wrote: Group I am primary and have been on androgel for 8 months; my dosage is (7.5 mg/day = 3 packets). Guest guest
Hey Kipp - Your numbers look great - sounds like your only symptom is fatigue which may not be connected to your TRT. If you are working out every day for 2 hours - that is alot. How is your diet and how well do you sleep? - I would not change my TRT regiment because it looks like it is working well for you. Also - have you ever had your estradiol checked (E2)? Arkansas kipp kruse <kckruse@...> wrote: Group I am primary and have been on androgel for 8 months; my dosage is (7.5 mg/day = 3 packets).
