Guest guest
Toni, I have the fever, joint pain and chills quite often also. It usually hits me right before I have a flare, I look at it as " notification of upcoming events, " gives me time to prepare for the inevitable. I can get through it with just Tramadol and Tylenol for the fever. Let me know what your rheumy says about it. Thanks Ann > > Ok today I have not felt myself. Guest guest
Hi... I understand that the fever is usually a sign that I am going to have a flare up. So was the case this week, as Sunday I felt like...well...we all know. I was running a fever, and could barely walk...seems my OA flares up right before I have an RA flare up. I had to take the only RX pain med I tolerate...oxycodone...and attemp to stay off my leg. Luckily my fever didn't go as high...only to 100.5... but still not comfortable...as my normal body temp is 97.3...so it would be like running over a 101 degree temp if you have a normal 98.6 body temp. Monday and Tuesday were no fun as the hip was extremely stiff...and just my luck I had to go grocery shopping and Christmas shopping with my mother in law at Sams and Walmart. I was extremely sore last night and went to my bedroom to lay down before 7 pm. I had ice packs on my knees and a heating pad on my hip for relief from the pain. Tomorrow I get to fly to Houston to go see my wife...whom I have not seen in two weeks...to go to her company's Christmas party. I am going to chance not wearing my knee brace as it makes passing thru security at the airports very difficult...as they make me take it off...and then I have to find a bathroom so I can put it back on again. Way too much of a pain. The there is never enough leg room on the planes so it is uncomfortable to wear it on the plane. So I think I will skip wearing it all together and just hope my legs hold out for the day. Well..hope everyone has a nice holiday season...one free of too much pain I hope and pray!! Guest guest
I get fevers too but not that high because I keep lower than normal temps. Remember to take it easy and don't over do it at that time. It's a warning singnal... Guest guest
Hi Larry, I'm so sorry, do you have a Handicapped status?? I knowing flying first class (last minute) does not cost that much to bump up to first class if it is open and gives you more leg room. But don't do it until you get up to where they take your luggage. I was in a flare last January for my daughter's wedding in Las Vegas and they bumped us off the plane!!! I had to sleep on the floor at the LV airport on my coat. They didn't care and they wouldn't give out pillows or blankets at all. Most miserable trip of my life except for the wedding! Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Larry Holmack <bichondaddy1057@...> wrote: Hi... I understand that the fever is usually a sign that I am going to have a flare up. Guest guest
Toni, I'm not sure what the fever was about. I'm glad to hear it's gone though. Usually, with a flare you have a lot of joint pain, and swelling, or I sure do. I have notice a fever is with me every night now. I do think you need to find a good rheumy, maybe someone can help you with one in your area on the group, hugs Tawny > > Ok today I have not felt myself. Guest guest
Fever is one of the many symptoms I used to persuade a Non Literate MD to treat me for Lyme. I have been on many Abx and still run a fever. I watch a lot of PBS the Public television show. They have had a number of shows on Munch by Proxie over the twenty some odd years I have watched. That is one strange Illness. I have seen where they put cameras in the room where they suspect this problem with mothers. One of the most common things they found them doing was putting a pillow over the childs face until they stopped moving. Very scary stuff. Pamela Beeth < pbeeth@...> wrote: " vibranthelen " <vibranthelen@...> wrote: " Hi All, How many of you are using the salt/C protocol? It seems to be helping many people. I have not been off of abx since 1993 and have been on IV abx many times as well. Now I am on IV rocephin for quite a long time and was also on IV zithro too but stopped due to cost, it isn't covered. I just posted for the first time about a week or so ago, I'm the one who has had a fever for 3 straight years. ... " Within 5 month of my taking Zithromax, my fever started and continued until I stopped the Zithromax at 13 months. Either the abx or the fever or both, sapped all my energy. It took me about 3 months to return to my former state of limited strength and energy. I learned from my sister, an ER nurse, that most ER nurses know that long term abx will cause fever. I ask her how they learned that when my doctors never told me that was a possibility. She said that mothers who bring their children into the ER with the only complaint of fever are often people with Munchausen's Syndrome by Proxy. They have gone from doctor to doctor getting antibiotics for the child but saving them up until they have enough to put the child on them for long enough to cause the fever. Then they can enjoy the attention they crave-- at the expense of their children.

Well done ! ==>Low carbs always helps a person lose weight, and " good " fats recommended do not create body fat, in fact they help your body lose weight. Yes your friend could do this diet, which isn't only for candida because it is a natural healing diet. She needs to start on coconut oil at low doses, along with butter, to start priming her gall bladder and liver to function better - this diet will not increase stones for sure, and if given enough time it will dissolve them. The best natural clot busters are the antifungals recommended, i.e. oil of oregano, clove oil, and garlic, but if she is taking blood thinners she needs to cut back on them when starting on natural ones. > My family thought my face looks less red, and thought my rosacea look only like sun tan. I wonder how long will take for all the redness to disappear. ==>How long? It takes one month of natural healing for every year you've had it. Natural healing starts when you are totally following the diet and taking all of the supplements. The best, Bee

Guest guest
Yes, they are both ibuprofen. Have you tried putting her in a warm (not hot) bath? Also cool compresses on her head and body? I used to alternate Tylenol and Motrin but have been trying to stay away from Tylenol lately. It's scary when your kid has a high fever though. We have flu now at our house too. And even though I know a lot of the info going around now is hype, I am still a little spooked about it. > > > I used tylenol, and this group and the DAN said not to. Guest guest
And then, if you are already gluatathione deficient, I wonder if Tylenol would then be potentially toxic because you don't have the available glutathione to detoxify/process it? pam > > > > > I used tylenol, and this group and the DAN said not to. Guest guest
> > i seem to run a fever daily. is that common with this? I am a bit concerned. I sometimes get dizzy too. > +++Hi Suzanne, Like andra advised you can get a fever as part of the detoxifying and healing processes. You can also get dizzy for the same reason. Flushing out and getting rid of toxins like anesthetics, drugs, alcohol, etc. will cause dizzyness and disorientation. Ensure you are only taking the supplements recommended, in the correct doses and the correct kinds, and that you are following the diet carefully too. Also if you have ever had those symptoms in the past your body will be retracing them while it is healing itself. Anyone who has gotten drunk in the past will also retrace their hangovers, etc. - not that I think you ever had alcohol - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php All the best, Bee
