YRGCARE invites participation to its upcoming training on HIV Voluntary

Counseling and Testing, July 2009

Five day Certificate Course on HIV VCT Training for Healthcare Professionals at

YRGCARE, Chennai

Technical discourses: July 4,11,18 & 28, 2009

(Saturdays only, 8.30 am to 12.30 pm)

Counseling observations and exposure training: Half day date tbd: 9 am to 12

noon

YRGCARE is a WHO-South East Asia collaborative center for developing laboratory

guidelines on HIV/STD diagnostics and regularly provides HIV counseling and

clinical updates and training.

Participation is invited from counselors working in the area of HIV, laboratory

professionals and technicians requiring NABL certification and students of

social work or psychology interested in providing HIV counseling.

The course fee is Rs. 2000/- per person. Interested participants/
