Gujarat State Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (GSNP+) is a state level network of HIV positive people in Gujarat. GSNP+ was formed on 6th February 2007 in Surat by 7 people living with HIV/AIDS, which now have presence in 24 districts of Gujarat. Out of 24 districts in 18 districts registered district level network are working which are registered as per Society Act. GSNP+ is also part of the national network as it is affiliated with Indian Network for People Living with HIV/AIDS (INP+). GSNP+'s Visions is "Every People Living with HIV in Gujarat can live healthy and long life without any stigma and discrimination and also stop new prevalence of HIV infection" .

· Job location: Surat

· Salary: Rs. 16,000/- (Negotiable)

· Last date to apply: 17th July, 09

· Job Details:

o Overall co-ordination and management of the program at the state level.

o Work closely with INP+ Secretariat and the Consultant to finalize the HR and Financial Policy

o Close networking with the implementation partner

o Regular follow-up with stakeholders like SACS, and others for the smooth execution of project at the district level for activities requiring multi-sectoral inputs

o Advocate with stake holders on different issues of PLHIV

o Provide technical support to implement HR and Financial policy

o Overall administration, internal monitoring and evaluation of GSNP+ program

o Timely disbursements of funds for DLN

o Compilation and finalizing the monthly and quarterly reports and submitting to funding organization.

· Core competencies required:

o It is desirable that the candidate should hold a post-graduate degree either in Psychology (MA/MSc) or Social Work.

o The candidate should have preferably worked for 5 years in the Health care sector/facility. 2 years working experience with HIV/AIDS field would be mandatory

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o Fluent in English and Gujarati.

o Ability to build relationships with team and community.

o Co-ordination, organization and liaison skills
