Guest guest
Hello All: Can someone give me some info on Primal Defense. I'm new to the group and I'm not familar with that product. It has been one month since I've been on the Candida diet. It has also been a week since I started using CandiGone (Renew Life Formulas). I also make sure that I stay on Nature's Secret AM/PM Multi-Herb/Multi-Fiber Cleanser; I just cut back on the dose. I feel I need both at this time. I would be thankful if someone could give me detailed info in this product. I am currently taking a High Blood Pressure Med and I was curious and this med; hoping it would not work against me with my regimen of the Candida! Thank you Very Much --- <heelpin@...> wrote: > You guys are going to be amazed at how little food > you will need once the small intestine is cleaned > up. Guest guest
Hi all, I'm sorry to hear of those of you with frustrating and unwanted weight gain and loss and too much or too little appetite. (I'm sorry I've already forgot who posted these comments--I hate my brain.). Anyway I can relate beause after many years of never gaining an ounce and having a tiny appetite--last year I suddenly gained weight without trying--more than I wanted but I'm so small that my low was 88 and my high was 106 so not excessive changes. Then I stopped drinking Gatorade which I love--in order to take in less calories and I did lose weight back to about 101. But I miss my Gator... In the nearly six months (and worse lately.) since doing doxy I frequently get FEROCIOUS attacks of the munchies which is an unbearable craving for salty greasy snacks (chips, peanuts, etc.) or other foods with similar qualities like cheese or buttered noodles with salt, etc. Sometimes I just can't stop eating even when full and feeling sick from eating too much. I rarely drink and never did drugs or smoked so don't know what any of those cravings are like but I think I have a clue now due to these awful munchies. Anyone else get this? It's definitely not the same as hunger. I also seem to be eating more lately and sometimes can't seem to get satisfied even after a good sized meal--sort of a cross between hunger and munchies. Other times I feel so scuzzy with my stomach I hardly eat for days. So I guess it's " normal " for Lyme victims to have abnormal appetites and eating " habits " for lack of a better word. Just one more thing to make our existences horrible. Hope ya all start feeling better SOON. Madeleine
Guest guest
Dear Madeline & All, Read US News article about lack of quality sleep & it stated that ALL hormones - including the one which controls appetite - are affected by sleep deprivation... Try qi-gong, NST, acupuncture/acupressure... Blessings! > Hi all, > > I'm sorry to hear of those of you with frustrating and unwanted > weight gain and loss and too much or too little appetite. Guest guest
I would appreciate any help or input anyone may be able to offer. I know there are those who have a healthy appetite. I, unfortunately, struggle with the opposite. Most of the time eating is a chore and has become more so since getting off the steroids. I've read where deficiencies in folic acid and lysine can contribute to this problem and have begun supplementing. It's only been a couple of days and I don't know how long it may take to notice a change. My question is: Does anyone know if there's anything else I can do? I've got to get this turned around. I felt so good when I initially started LDN and now feel like I may be starting to backslide because of the appetite thing. Thanks in advance for your help! Guest guest
Zinc might help increase appetite. Beverly > > I would appreciate any help or input anyone may be able to offer. Guest guest
Thanks Beverly. I started with a new doc early in the summer and he didn't recommend zinc. I had forgotten I used to take it. Will add that one back into the diet! Thanks again! Abby > > > > I would appreciate any help or input anyone may be able to offer.
