Guest guest
I know that the expiration dates on prescription drugs (usually set at one year from dispensing) don't really mean that their potency has expired. (I've read that the expiration dates were developed years ago by the Army so that they could have a system for rotating in new medications and were not related to how long a drug kept its potency). The expiration date on my LDN is six months from when it was dispensed. I have it in three different strengths because I've needed to experiment with different dosages. My 1.5 mg. pills say to " discard after October 26th. " That's six months from the date the prescription was filled. Will these 1.5 mg. pills really not be potent after that date? If so, I'll need to get a new prescription soon. Any help would be appreciated. Toni
Guest guest
We have just finished a stability study that suggests that the expiration date is a year from the date of compounding. This will only be good for those products compounded at our pharmacy. Dr. Skip In a message dated 10/4/2008 12:16:54 P.M. Guest guest
Your questions are getting through it's just that no one is helping you. Using the search feature on this site and typing in the word 'herpes' I come up with 145 results. Give this a try and see if your answer is among those posts. It has been discussed many times in this group. Art -- > > hi all, > > I dont know why my questions just dont get in through to this forum, but > here i write again. Is LDN able to kill HHV-6A ? Guest guest
HHV-6A is the same as Human Herpesvirus 6 Variant A. It's suspected to be a trigger for MS, CFS and other immune diseases. Whether it's true or will be - well....it's not my job to find out. I tried to google it, and found some links, one of them is this one: http://www.immunitytoday.com/chronilandin.html If HHV-6A is a trigger of some autoimmune diseases I would suggest that you at least give LDN a try. LDN is not dangerous medicine to take, and you can stop taking it whenever you want without any slow tapering off of it. It will increase the immune system and therefor your immune system will be better fighting different diseases. Please ask Crystal whether she could send you her list of prescribing doctors. angelindisguise67@... Good luck., please return and tell us how you're doing on LDN :-)Ingrid Re: [low dose naltrexone] Does LDN from Skip's Pharmacy really expire in 6 mos? hi all, I dont know why my questions just dont get in through to this forum, but here i write again. Guest guest
Hi Ingrid, thanks for your reply and care. Well, the reason why I ask about HHV-6A is because i read on the website, it is the co-factor that causes AIDS together with HIV. I was wondering if LDN does kills HIV and HHV-6A ? ( of course I hope it does ) It seems that I cant see much of statement of people using LDN for HIV or AIDS...anyone to share ? Guest guest
The LDN in HIVAIDS e-group is for those interested in use of low-dose naltrexone (LDN) in HIV+AIDS as carriers, those related to carriers, caretakers, health professionals or other helpers in the field. Guest guest
If you go to www.youtube.com and search for LDN or naltrexone, you will find some 6-10 videos about ldn users telling ab their diseases and ldn. One of them is a woman with HIV. She has improved a lot on LDN and does not develope aids, does not use other meds than LDN as far as I remember.or you could try to find the videos here: http://www.youtube.com/user/TropicalDawg or: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=low+dose+naltrexone & search_type= & aq=0 & oq=Low+Dos Ingrid Re: [low dose naltrexone] Does LDN from Skip's Pharmacy really expire in 6 mos? hi all, I dont know why my questions just dont get in through to this forum, but here i write again.
