One month training on Basics of Drug Abuse Prevention and Harm Reduction Services

Dear FORUM,

We are glad to inform you that Regional Resource and Training Center ( RRTC-

North ), SPYM  is organising a one month training course on " Basics of Drug

Abuse Prevention and Harm Reduction Services " from 28th July  to  27th Aug 2009

in partnership with NISD, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of

India.

This training course is to build the capacity of Outreach Workers of NGOs in the

area of Drug Abuse Prevention, Treatment & Rehabilitation and Targeted

Intervention (Harm Reduction) by enriching their knowledge, skills through

theoretical & hands on training to enable them to implement their program in an

efficient and effective manner.

We could accommodate ten participants from UP and MP each, working at TI (IDU)

Projects for the said course. We request the organizations working in the cited

sphere to nominate ORWs from UP and MP accordingly. The boarding & lodging,

training and travel cost of the participants will be borne by us.

We request you to confirm the same by July 16th so that we may block seats for

ten participants for the said course.
