Guest guest
Hi Maarit, if TS is an auto immune disease, LDN would probably help. If you want to try LDN to find out if it works it's not a problem at all, as long as you don't use any pain pills containing narcotics. These kind of pills are contraindicated to LDN. To use LDN for half a year or more to find out if it could help for a disease is a no brainer, LDN is a small dose of a pill, and it has almost none side effects. All side effects that may occur will be gone in a week or two. And the side effects are known as small and harmless. Remember; most of us don't get any side effects at all. LDN may be used as a preventive, too. To get a strong immune system by using LDN should be positive for us. Have a nice day! Guest guest
Hi all, Tietze's syndrome is related to (is considered a severe form of) costochondritis (inflammation of the area wher the breastbone and ribs join). Looking up costohondritis at the www.mayoclinic.com list of symptoms and conditions, I note that two of the possible causes given (infection of the costochondroital joints, and fibromyalgia) might be helped by taking LDN. The other two causes given (injury to the area or referred pain from other areas of the body) I suspect would not be helped by LDN. If your doctor has diagnosed that the Tietze's syndrome you are suffering is caused by infection or fibromyalgia, then you may well find LDN treatment helpful. If no specific cause has been determined in your particular case, you may want to consider experimenting with LDN. The risk from side effects is low, and you may well find relief. If I tried LDN, I would consider giving LDN a trial for at least six months.
