The course to begin with is being offered at 1. Vivekananda Memorial Hospital, Saragur, H.D.Kote taluk, Mysore District and 2.Kempe Gowda Institute for Medical Sciences, Bangalore Eligibility: MBBS and BDS graduates Last date for submission of application: 17th August 2009 Course commencing on - 1st September 2009. No. of seats - 5 in each of the institutions ( 1seat in each institution reserved for BDS candidates); Total 10 seats including 2 seats for dental candidates Job opportunities - As Medical Officers in ART centres, Community Care Centres and also Program Managers in HIV Programs in the country. The KSAPS Executive Committee in its 51st meeting ( Agenda 50.4) on 7th Feb. 2009 has approved to accord priority in appointment to qualified MBBS candidates in the ART centres in Karnataka state. The advertisement has been released by the University in Deccan Herald and Vijaya Karnataka Newspapers on the 15th July 2009.
