Nusa Dua " Bali , INDONESIA. Asian People' Alliance for Combating HIV/AIDS (APACHA)- the largetst HIV civil society respose in Asia will be participating in various the community FORUM . For us to articulate, better on community concerns we would like to seek your advise. Please suggest what issues we should propose as the agenda and highlight during the discussion at the community FORUMS? Community FORUMS are one of the significant space for community groups to articulate issues and concerns. This is to seem your comments and opinion about possible issues to be raised by APACHA at the community FORUMS. The objectives of the Community Forum are to bring communities together as well as to identify and exchange views on key and emerging issues of concern. Due to the further complexity of HIV and AIDS issues and the alarming accelerated numbers of new HIV cases in Asia and the Pacific, besides the PLHIV and Youth groups, other community groups not formally attached to the Congress (i.e. Interfaith) had a pre-congress meeting in the 8th ICAAP. Other groups (LGBTIQ & sex workers and IDUs) also gathered at the Community Forum meeting to ensure common understanding and prepare community statements that would be voiced at the opening ceremony. Communities will then all gather together on 9th August 2009 morning to consolidate results of their meetings and prepare a Community Statement to be announced at the opening ceremony on the same day. Please suggest what issues we should propose as the agenda for the discussion at the community FORUMS. a) the list of the community FORUMS are listed below. a) Are you satisfied with the list of community forums.
