Guest guest
Cimzia and humira are obviously strong and for god sakes, prolly toxic. When taking them you tend to wonder what else can it cause... Well with LDN producing massive amounts of endorphins.. do you guys think it is bad for the brain in the long term? just curious.. Still learning. Im great with pharmacology and want more experience with this.
Guest guest
Considering that the CRAB/Tysabri/Novantrone drugs can cause infections, depression / suicide, congestive heart failure, progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy, acute myelogenous leukemia, et al, I'll take my chances with LDN any day. Guest guest
Imagine being a person with MS, a NON-FATAL disease, and going to your doctor/neurologist to get help. He/she convinces you with a BS sales pitch to use Tysabri. You'll be told it has a 66% success rate. Where that number comes from and who those patients were is anyone's guess. You'll be told this is the cutting edge of MS treatments. We doctors are highly educated, we know best and you know nothing. You start taking it because you are ill and desperate and you trust your doctor. Of course this depends on whether or not you can afford it. $10,000.00-$15,000.00 a year? A drop in the bucket for this quality medication. Hopefully you'll have health insurance. You will be dealing with all sorts of side-effects such as nausea and suicidal thoughts. Yeah, that's the ticket. Then you develop a serious viral infection of the brain and die, all because of Tysabri. The doctors and spokespeople for Tysabri apologize and say we will do better in the future. They say it's because it was used along with Avonex and next time we won't use that protocol. We'll pull it off the market for a little while and make believe we are performing further research on the medication. Meanwhile they are mainly worried about getting sued and their stock prices falling. They must support their meager lifestyle of mansions, BMW's, and yachts. In the meantime you are dead and your friends and family are heartbroken and left wondering what went wrong. Next patient, please. > > I 2nd that Art...Even if they paid me to take it I wouldn't....I'll stay with my LDN where I can walk now after coming from a walker, wheelchair and powerchair to now nothing. Guest guest
This just sounds all too familiar. <deep sigh> I wonder if these same people (decision makers) make these choices for their own kids and themselves. Jodi
