Guest guest
I've been taking 3mg of ldn every night after working my way up from 1mg. I'm hypothyroid (no antibodies) and have fibromyalgia that armour has not taken care of yet (I've been on armour since May). I have a really hard time sleeping due to pain. My doctor, bless his heart, gave me a script the first time I asked about it. I didn't even have to give him all the documentation I printed out on it. So, far I seem to be sleeping a little better. I'm still waking up during the night but I can usually go back to sleep. I'm dreaming up a storm, which is entertaining. One night I dreamt I was out with Ray Cyrus. We watch waaaay too much Hannah Montana around here, LOL!!! My hip and shoulder pain seem to come and go. Right now with the rain, it's back. Another thing that has improved is my stress incontinence. That is a really nice and unexpected benefit. I'm still taking melatonin (10 mg) , elavil (25 mg) and benadryl (25-50 mg) along with the ldn in an attempt to STAY asleep at night. I tried for about a week some lithium orotate. That seemed to work great for the first few days, I didn't need the elavil or benadryl. But then I started getting stomach pains at night. Not the kind of pain caused by indigestion or relieved by pepcid. So I stopped the lithium. Funny thing though, 4 days ago, my period came back. It disappeared completely in October. It could be meno kicking in, it could be that my armour dose was too high making me hyper and stopping my cycle. I had other hyper symptoms too... fast heart rate, flushing, high FT3 and high FT4 so I cut back my dosage. So the stomach pain could have been cramps and I just didn't know it. I'm not sure the lithium orotate will be viable for me since lithium, I've heard, supresses the thyroid. That's not something a hypothyroid person wants. But I don't know if the lithium orotate, being low dose, has that effect. But any how, I'll continue the 3 mg until my bottle of 1 mg ldn is gone and then try going up to 4 mg and see how it goes.
