If not using the cream since you have crohn's, the cream many be better, it bypasses the gut. If you cannot obtain the LDN transdermal cream from Coastal Compounding in Savannah, Georgia, USA then get your LDN capsules made up with non-dairy/non-refrigerate Acidophilus as that's much better for the gut. Guest guest
Hi , I use transdermal from Hopewell Pharmacy in NJ. My doctor ordered transdermal form GA on Friday to ease any worries about my current cream causing me issues. Do you think my current cream to be such an issue? Dr Hoffman uses Hopewell all the time. Guest guest
You can also try emptying the capsules into your mouth directly. Guest guest
! OK, Dr Hoffman called it in to Coastal The pharm at Coastal was so nice- to ease my concerns she called Hopewell Pharm in NJ and asked them what formulation they use. She was told that it is basically the same it's just the base/carrier isn't the emu oil like Dr McCandles RX. So I decided to go with Coastal. I am having it over-nighted FedEX to me so it will be here on WED before the holiday (I don't know if ground would get here this week due to T'giving) It's really helping my Crohn's!!! I am so psyched!! Wasn't as pain ridden today. Just very exhausted and had low grade constant headache and aches in my body but I was able to leave the house and go to my chiro WOOHOO! He helped my body aches a bit. Seems to travel through my body making the worst places of aches vary during the day. Guest guest
Hi Amy D, I started on 1.5mg of transdermal cream. I have Lyme Co-Infections and Crohn's. Wow, MS and Crohn's.. If you get transdermal go with Coastal! My pain has been quite terrible, today was the first day I could actually really move around and get out of the house (couldn't take the train or anything but it's better than nothing) I know many MS'ers start with a lower dose. Maybe you should ask the list about dosing. Good Luck! Guest guest
Jodi, Just wondering .. is the nausea any better?? My daughter has just started LDN and at 3.0 mg is talking about waking up with nausea. (she is on the cream for UC .. from Coastal) It would be nice to know if the nausea stayed or left after a few days. Thanks, Teri On Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 5:30 PM, jodah235 <jodah235@...> wrote: Last two night I woke up at 2am which was ok but I had -extreme-nausea last night during that time. Yes, I understand that it takes time to get better and no I am notworried about the LDN on this level.JodiCrohn's/Colitis
