Guest guest
Thank you .. I am looking into this with the best of my ability. Different doctors I have been to, disagree about course of treatment for me with Lyme and Co. The LDN is doing wonders for my bowel. I can't believe I am going through this.. Finally something helps and now this. How have people's experiences with Tindamax been while taking LDN? Do you know? What about Doxycyline on LDN? That one passes the brain/blood barrier. Will be harder for me GI wise. They would give it to me in IV- I just don't know if I can leave the house enough to do it consistently. I just want the LDN to make bowel stronger do I can actually do antibiotics.. Jodi Sorry for the complaining and confusion. I don't expect anyone to make up my mind for me. Just interested in other people's experiences. > > > > I was a little off this morning not too bad stiffness wise. > > I saw a specialist today and I think it caused me stress. > > > > I had stiffness in my shoulders this morning but now my lumbar is > > stiff and my neck is stiff and I have a headache as a result (I think- > > could my head be stiff? Guest guest
I'm currently going down the Lyme path. Lyme attacks multiple systems in our bodies. It attacks our eyes, brains, heart, joints, and more. I have a sore right shoulder, knees that pop loudly, my neck was popping, have frequent headaches, and I have a heart murmur now. This is what confuses the heck out of our physicians. Lyme does not fit into the standard cookie cutter diagnosis and treatment. It took me five physicians to finally get diagnosed with Lyme and start antibiotic treatment. Physicians will typically argue us out of a Lyme diagnosis. " You weren't in this part of the country " , " you didn't have the bulls eye rash " , " your labs are clear " . Oh, did I mention that NONE of the Lyme tests are accurate? Hiring a competent Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD) is CRITICAL for diagnosing and treating Lyme disease. A not so competent Lyme doc will get us dead, or worse. Many states do not have LLMDs and many patient end up traveling several hundred miles to their LLMD. (mine is a 6 or 7 hour drive) Symptoms: www.CanLyme.doc For physicans, the button is at the bottom of the page. www.ILADS.org I found my LLMD by telephoning Lyme awareness organizations and interviewing their people. Figured they were Lyme patients that had been through the hokey alternative treatments and not so competent Lyme docs. Trailer for the documentary on Lyme " Under Our Skin " http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxWgS0XLVqw & I don't normally check this board. feel free to send me a message directly to wake me up.
