Guest guest
When I first started LDN I was having my period.. and I felt an extreme exhaustion, a fatigue almost as if I wasn't present... It's like flu'ish feeling without the coughing. Now I got my period again and I just feel so wiped out and out of it.. Have other women experienced this? Does this eventually go away on LDN? If so how long did it take you to get over this hurdle? Thanks, Jodi
Guest guest
Jodi, As I look back on my first few months on LDN I would say that I was pretty wiped out. At least on the heavy days. But last month which was my forth on LDN, was a breeze! I still had a couple heavy days but I did not feel as wiped out as the first few months. Now with all that being said maybe it was a coincidence! Who knows. But that is my experience with my period and LDN so far. Carole
Guest guest
I would get really painful periods and be doubled over in the shower for a long time the first night and part of the first day of my period. And I would get spaced out the first several days. They are still bad, but it's usually just the first day and if I take Aleve I'm OK, or at least it's not so bad that I'm in the fetal position rocking back and forth. I can function a lot better mentally, and am not afraid to drive anymore. I have good months too now though were I can get away with just Tylenol. I think it's an individual thing... I took a hormone panel a while back and mine are really messed up. My doctor thinks I'm allergic to my estrodiol and I reacted to an interdermal test. I'm not sure how that's even possible.... But I'm not a normal case Cami
Guest guest
Hi Jodi, It does seem to effect many women's periods in different ways. For me, it is like back when I was 16 again. Some women report their periods coming back and being more regular. Some do report problems at first. So, you are not alone. If I have any chats on this saved I will forward them to you.
