Guest guest
I have not heard of this. Where did you hear it and what is the reason? Guest guest
Art, I cannot without permission from the sender send the full content of his mail, but here is a part - Dickson has just had one order from Irmat intercepted and confiscated by the Customs. I have just written to Dickson's. This could be catastrophic for all of us especially outside of the USA...................
Guest guest
I talked with Dr. Tom Gilhooly ( spoke at the LDN conference) from Glasgow and he sent the following email: Deidre, 'there has been a problem with the MHRA in the UK who have obviously had a complaint from somewhere as they are not that proactive. The upshot is that imports from the USA are banned unless they are from a factory and at the moment they are from two pharmacies. Dickson has guaranteed that he will supply anyone who wants LDN in the UK which is just as well as we plan a big expansion of treatment. He has looked at the possibility of producing tablets via a factory and has found a capsule supplier in the UK so things are settled now and you can reassure your friends that their supply is safe. is going to speak that the conference and I am sure will outline this drama in more detail.' Tom There is no worries about getting your LDN in UK and will be discuss at the April conference. Dee http://www.ldn4cancer.com
Guest guest
On further investigation I confirm that there should be no concerns about continuing to get LDN in the United Kingdom, & Ireland, & I would assume in other European Union states (EU) It has always been illegal to import the finished product (e.g. LDN capsules supplied by Irmat) into a EU country, & this continues to be the case. Pharmacies can import pure naltrexone powder & compound their own product, provided that they have a compounding licence, and an importing licence. The requirement to have an import licence would appear to be a new requirement, but established compounding pharmacies should have no difficulty in getting such a licence. n Quinn, Pharmacist in Ireland already has got his import licence from the Irish Medicines Board. I am also given to understand that a pharmacist can only supply patients within his/her own country, & that a wholesale licence is required in order to supply other pharmacies. A list of EU member states is here: http://europa.eu/abc/european_countries/index_en.htm Tommy
