I had a biopsy in Dec 2007 which detected early stage prostate cancer (Gleason 6). I went to s Hopkins for advice and was told that at 74 I was too old for either surgery or radiation treatments. They told me I would probably die of something else. However, I was not happy to do nothing so I followed Dr. Whitaker's advice and started LDN, modified citrus pectin, and ground flax seed. My PSA has dropped from 4.7 tp 2.8. I just saw my urologist and he cancelled a planned biopsy for this month. He says he will stop treating me as a "sick" patient and asked me to come back in 12 months.
