Guest guest
So that's why I felt like I was flying when I was prescribed Talwin for pain. It's one of the drugs on my two page list of drugs I can't take. Judy HVBG 2000-310 #Lost 75 #, regained 15 #RNY 2002-250 #Lost 35 #, regained 45 #9/5/08 started low carb at 260 #Lost 7 # and 3.5" off hips as of 10/27 From: Vagn Jensen Sent: Tuesday, December 09, 2008 3:55 PM low dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: re LDN IMPORTS / Celia A similar product has been on the market for some time (years?):Talwin® NXTo be taken ORALLY ONLY !!Talwin® NX: Naloxone with Pentazocine. Pentazocine is a narcotic analgesic (pain killer). Naloxone and Pentazocine (combined) is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Naloxone is included to prevent the abuse of Pentazocine by injection. IF THIS COMBINED PRODUCT IS INJECTED, the Pentazocine will not have any effect, BUT SEVERE REACTIONS (INCLUDING DEATH) may occur !!!This is the original warning on the product - not that I think any of "us" will ever need this drug.... I hope...
