My IgeneX and Fry Laboratories test are in the " Pics " section of my

MySpace profile. Look for the blue circles.

www.myspace.com/alrightguy123

It's frustrating after battling through the

medical-industrial-complex, taking drugs that darn near killed me,

then ME going to the medical school library to figure this out. Then

to read someone with a kind heart and intentions say " oh, just have

them test your for Lyme " . Yeah right.

I talked my GP into testing me for Lyme right after my Apr 2000 optic

neuritis, that test was negative. My two tests in 2007 were

inconclusive. Though I've been told the IgeneX test has an

interesting molecular weight result though.

I think my local doc wanted to treat me for Lyme. Lyme is terribly

complex. In the words of Reagan " just say no " . I wanted a

REALLY competent Lyme physician.

Yes, it's worth the money. The Lyme documentary " Under Our Skin " is

about $35 plus shipping. I'd quite " thrifty " and don't question my

decision to spend the money at all.

Lyme is a very complex disease. A not so competent Lyme Doctor will

get us dead, or worse. I put my dieing breath into finding my Lyme

physician by doing the internet referrals AND interviewing Lyme

awareness / education organizations.

Many Lyme patients have to go to out-of-state Lyme physicians. My LLMD

is about a 6 hour drive.

Those shots do strange things to us. Something like getting our

cytoines (????) or something all a titter. For me, there is a

possibility I had Lyme for a long time. when I lived on top of the

old landfill, I noticed my early symptoms like my left eye quitting

working, were related to two (2) inch rain falls. Maybe as the ground

water increased the toxic vapors were pushed into the house???

There are decent Lyme groups in Michigan and Minnesota. As I was

going down my Lyme path a lady from MN sent me quite a few newspaper

articles. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to find

those groups.

I'll dig around and see what I can find.

I'm not on this board all that often, so send me a note directly if

I'm not answering.

I've corresponded with /talked to Lyme patients that spent their life

savings on alternative type treatments to no avail. Be skeptical

every step of the way.

As soon as I made the connection that there was a landfill under my

old house, I ran away. Then I found 1927 and 1941 aerial pictures

where my old house was built in 1951. Sure enough, there was a

landfill there. I reported my findings to the county board of health.

They could not do anything.

A couple years after I moved out some of the former neighbors grand

kids killed the grand parents then buried them in the basement. Glad I

moved.

Eve - I'm sure you'll find something just as close or closer than Mayo.

Don't think because they have a big name that they're good w/Lyme -

many people have told me their tests were negative from there only to

find a Lyme Literate doc elsewhere and test positive.

Good luck,

Sue

> Thanks then, I will order it and begin searching. I'm about 6 hours

from Mayo, 2 hours from Chicago or Milwaukee, 1 hour from Madison WI, 1

hour from La Crosse WI, any one have any suggestions or referrals in

these areas?
