Guest guest
Dear Forum, Re: /message/10661 I am a PLWHA, and let me tell you how I quit. I was a smoker when I was fifteen years old in Kanpur, India, and was a chain smoker when I went to college in Kolkata, and even brought 200 Charminar cigarettes to USA for fear that their cigarettes would not be strong enough. Just a year ago, 2008 they put me in a hospital In USA for a lone period of time, and to smoke I would have to go outside, so I quit. Since in USA, in most indoor places you cannot smoke, and so it is in INDIA nowadays. It is best for a PLWHA to quit since that is the first thing the legislatores tax, and it causes TB along with AIDS. Also the American/Western tobacco companies have a great place to sell their tobacco, like ChIna and India and take billions from those nations. So if they can impose bans by patenting life saving drugs, do not give Western countries the pleasure of making billions by selling tobacco to the BRIC nations(BRAZIL, RUSSIA, INDIA, CHINA). Do use Indian 'MUKH SHUDHHI' instead. Or better yet do as the American youth do, and chew on a plastic straw instead. Thank you, Sincerely, Priyadarshi Datta.
