Maybe some people use the " s " and a possesive " 's " . sort of like " Lou

Gehrig's " disease?? I do think the correct name is " Lyme " . The

International LYME and Associated Diseases Society (www.ilads.org)

uses the name " Lyme " in their web page and documents.

My mother uses " LymeS " disease. For her, sometimes, I quietly make a

comment and the rest of the time use " Lyme " around her. Maybe she'll

pick up on it? It's Mom, what's a guy to do?
