Guest guest
Hi All, I'm wondering if there is anyone in the group with crohn's or other IBD issues who has experience with coming off remicade and going onto the LDN cream. My son tried the pills last July when he was already very ill after coming off the Humira pediatric trial. We had a short burst of success and then he got worse and had to be hospitalized. He's been on steroids and remicade since. However the remicade therapy is starting to lose it's effectiveness as well. A recent level test indicated that it is not maintaining in his system. I've been reading that many Crohnies do better with the LDN cream over the pills. Dr. Grossman is calling in an Rx for the cream to Skip's so we should have it soon. I'm interested to hear other's success stories. Thanks
Guest guest
G'Morning Aletha, It's for my son, who has Crohn's. He's been taking LDN (not consistently) for over a year and I think it keeps him from getting worse. I order it from an online source (he has no insurance) and make the liquid stuff. I read here about the cream being best for Crohn's, so thought I'd ask. cheers,~~Laurie>> Laurie, why are you wanting to take the cream form of LDN? If it is for quick release, you might want to try pouring the LDN caps directly into your mouth and swalowing it down with water, it is bitter tasting, but some have reported better results. > > Aletha>
Guest guest
Gladly, The brand name is 'Designs for health' - http://designsforhealth.com/home.htm. We mix 1/8 tsp in a dab of pure emu oil. (Emu oil must be applied in until absorbed = good opportunity for a tummy rub.) The powder is not ceap (64.00) but will last for a long time. The oil 'Jurassic Secret' we buy at HENRY'S here in SoCal. The dosage was recomended by our DAN doctor for a 40 lbs child. Glutathione is supposed to oxidize VERY FAST. This way is cheaper and we apply inmediatly. Good luck. > > > > Hello, I am new to this group and giving very serious consideration > to > > LDN.
