LDN cream - studies?

My son's holistic doctor is familiar with LDN, having enthusiastically

prescribed it for MS patients in the past. (Unfortunately he said his

patients did not see as good of results as he'd expected based on what

he'd read about.)

He has never tried it for an IBD patient before. I explained to him

that the transdermal cream is the way to go with IBD and that I had

the pharmacy info (Coastal). He had never heard of the cream before

and asked if there were any studies on it.

Given that LDN studies in general are not overly prevalent, I am

guessing there is nothing specific available on the cream. Is the

recommendation for cream based on clinical experiences vs. any formal

study?

Have this doc contact DR. Jaquelyn McCandless, the TD LDN cream at

Coastal is her formulation that she uses with many patients.
