Guest guest
Dear all, Re: /message/10141 While not denying the importance of an informed debate, one must say, if that is the argument by the Rajya Sabha Committee there are only two possibilities 1. Rajya Sabha's generally 'past the prime of youth' members are totally detached from the reality. They should be retired asap from public life and sent back to 'private life'. Or 2. This is sick report by a sick mentality. But did we expect anything different from Venkaiah Naidu whose report must have been dictated by some " brahmachari " ? Guest guest
Dear Forum, Re: /message/10141 I don't know how many politicians had gone through this article, they had to re-think about their decission (this is my opinion). Why Politicians thinking that it is not good to give Adult Education Program before 12th Class? I want to recall my learning's somewhere I read it earlier. It says.... " Sex education is about developing young people's skills so that they make informed choices about their behavior and feel confident about acting on these choices " I strongly believe that NO BODY IN THIS COUNTRY can give a statement that " in India there is no young people before 12th class are involving in sexual behavior " . When we are not in a position to give a statement then why not education which will decrease the risk of getting STIs,HIV & a better reproductive health. Guest guest
Dear Friends, Re: /message/10141 Our youth population of our country are exposed to lot of sexpostures like T.V, Present day cinemas, dance cultures in TV and disqouthe, internet , co education opportunities and so on unlike that of our previous days of the elder politicians. These changes in the society and globalization cannot be stopped. At this juncture the need for a thorough sex education, what is what and how and why it is happenning with regards sex and sexualty will definitely help these individuals to alleviate their anxiety about sex and will help in protecting themselves. So the timely need of sex education must be felt by everybody.
