Guest guest
Much as I agree with the cause, I believe this action to be futile. Though this will no doubt be strenuously denied by official sources, I firmly believe the FDA, the AMA and all the various cancer trusts and research establishments are in the pocket of 'Big Pharma' and have been for many years. I think that to believe the FDA will roll over and do as we ask just on the strength of a petition would be very naive. I would go even further and suggest that to take this action is just alerting them to the presence of a very powerful competitor to 'established (profitable) cancer fighting techniques'. What I believe will happen is we'll receive a pat on the head and be told " thank you for bringing this to our attention, it shows real promise and will be investigated immediately! " then several weeks, months or years later they'll make a half hearted attempt to initiate a clinical trial which will be rigged to 'prove' that LDN doesn't work. I know that to many of you reading this you will think me as being cynical and paranoid, but it's only 3 years since my fight against cancer started and it's been one hell of a learning curve! I also used to have faith in the system 'till I learned of what happened to people like Harry Hoxey. His fight to bring a cure for cancer to light and his reception by orthodoxy is well documented. Just my opinion for what it's worth. > > This idea is currently in 32nd Place in Health Care and needs 882 > more votes to make it into the second round > >
