Dear FORUM,

I agree with Sankar in spirit of transparency the scheduled once announced

should be adhered to.  Postponing results without a valid reason does not

reflect on the transparency of the electoral process.

CCMs across the world are often accused of not being transparent. The elections

of the CCM in India was a step in the right direction.  The anomaly of not

announcing the results immediately after elections will only reinforce the

negative images CCM carry in the mind of civil society.

Dear Friends,

The India CCM appearsto continue to be as opaque as ever.

Having themselves announced that the declaration of results has been postponed

one would think it was a no-brainer to presume that the reasons for the same

should also be shared.

At the very least there appears to be a complete lack of commitment to

the very principle of transparency.
