Yet, election after election, WE, the people of India, choose the same corrupt and criminal politicians and the suffering continues. Bomb strikes, people get killed, but the politicians play their dirty games. People die of hunger, but most politicians are busy stashing their crores in Swiss Bank. Even after sixty years of independence, 50% of population doesn't have water, electricity or toilet facility - yet every 5 years they dare to face us with (our) money and liquor, and we forget everything. Not anymore! I, Dr. Diwakar Tejaswi - beg you, request you, ask you, challenge you - to come forward and make a beginning. I have made the beginning - by having the courage to contest this election from Patna Saheb constituency, without the money and the muscle power and shunning the caste, religion and regional considerations and by not having the show and pomp displayed by the mighty stars. I beg you to make your beginning - by forwarding this message to as many people as possible, by voting for this country and by calling your near and dear ones to vote for this country, not for caste, not for money, not for stars. I, Dr. Diwakar Tejaswi, - am a medical doctor by profession, - have worked tirelessly for AIDS and health awareness in Patna, - have walked in dirty water with all others when Patna was submerged in water, - have cried with other Patnaites when Rahul Raj was murdered, - have sat on hunger strike when other Biharies were attacked in other states, - have worked with others when Chhath puja is celebrated, - have wept with you on the lawlessness of Bihar, - have laughed with you on the success of Biharis, because, I am "one of you".
