spasticity vs spasms with LDN

I have read on the LDN site that spasticity improves with LDN and to

maintain 3mg if you have spasms. Can someone please explain the

difference between the 2 conditions please??? my understanding is that

both conditions are more or less the same with spasms being an extreme

condition of spasticity!!!
