Guest guest
Following Dr. Skip's recommendations, I did 30 days of 1.5 mg of LDN, followed by 30 days of 3.0 mg, to be followed by trying 4.5 mg. We both agreed it was better to err on the side of caution, and I'm patient. I had no problems with 1.5 mg, and noted an increase in energy and decrease in pain the 1st week. I noted some slight increase in symptoms, plus mild side effects, on going up to 3 mg. Those levelled out after 8-10 days. Just at the point of trying 4.5 mg, and BEFORE I did, the pancreatitis I first suffered horribly with 9 months ago returned, along with severe colitis, which I've previously controlled successfully with diet for almost 20 years. I'm confused, because I've read where LDN has been used with great success for pancreatic cancer. Numerous people have reported help with Crohn's, IBS, etc., on LDN, as well. Admittedly, I've been going through an extremely stressful period, with a death in the family, among other things. But this was totally unexpected. Although I have a high pain threshhold (according to doctors), the excruciating pain from the pancreatitis necessitated stopping the LDN (temporarily, I hope) in order to better control my pain. I'd really like some feedback on this, so I can better understand and put it all in persepctive. Thanks, Group. Tarra
