Kolkatta. As member of advocacy panel, I am posting this mail on behalf of Mr.

Dear Mr Sanjay

A community consultation to bring more value to the MSM and TG proposal in Round

9 is being planned on 21st and 22nd March 2009 in Mumbai.

Initially we had budgeted for 60 participants. However as the word spread an

interest was generated around the community consultation and many more requests

followed. We wanted this consultation to be as inclusive as possible and thus we

requested our supporting agency to increase the budget to 70 participants from

the original 60 that we had planned.

Yesterday you called Mr. Pawan Dhall who is coordinating the consultation in the

East Region expressing your interest in Koshish Kolkatta attending the

consultation. He discussed some of the constraints but also requested you to

write a mail to him and me with your request. However for some strange reason

you then called up Mr. Ashok Row Kavi in Delhi who once again asked you to talk

to us or write a mail to us.

The next thing we notice is you are writing mails on various forums fighting for

your rights.

This consultation is being arranged by various CBOs in the country collectively

and in the spirit of inclusivity.

We request you to follow basic procedures of being part of a consultation and

that would include writing a formal mail requesting participation at the

workshop. Also realise that we are struggling our best to resolve budgetary

constraints and enhance participation of the community at the consultation. Our
